Chicken nuggets with Limoncé


Ingredients for 4 portions:
500 gr chicken bites
100 gr of 00 flour
½ onion 
1 lemon zest
2 little glasses of Limoncè
200 ml of water
EVO oil, salt and parsley to taste.

First, we put the chicken nuggets in a bowl and we flour them well, making sure they are covered on all sides.
Now we pour EVO olive oil into a hot frying pan. We now add half of the chopped onion and the zest of a whole lemon, and then we start to fry the onion with the zest for a few minutes.
It is time to add the floured chicken bites, which we will let cook for a few minutes making sure they cook on all sides.
We now pour the Limoncé into the pan, the glass of water and a pinch of salt and we let them cook with the lid on for 8 minutes, remembering to turn them occasionally.
A little tip: if we realize that they are sticking to the bottom of the pan, just add another half a glass of water.
Once cooked, we are ready to serve them on the table. We finish the serving with some previously chopped fresh parsley. Now all that's left to do is to try these very soft bites!!
